System Name: Claws Pet Shop Management System

Aims: To streamline pet shop operations by managing products, employees, customers, and billing in an organized system.

(1) Login Page

The Login page allows pet shop staff to access the system using their email and password, ensuring that only authorized users can log in.

(2) Home Page

The Home page provides an overview of the system's key metrics. It displays four cards showing the total number of products, employees, customers, and revenue. Each card includes a button linking to its respective section for quick navigation.

(2) Products Page

Under the Products tab, the Product Page displays a table listing all products added to the system. It also includes a search function, allowing users to filter products by category for easier navigation.

(2) Add Product Page

Under the "Products" tab, the Add Product page enables staff to add new products by entering details such as the product name, selecting a category, and specifying the quantity and price.

(5) Modify Product Page

Under the "Products" tab, the Modify Product page displays a list of all products in the system. Staff can search for products by category, select a product from the table, and edit its details in the fields below or delete the selected product.

(6) Employees Page

Under the Employees tab, staff can add, modify, and delete employee records. This page includes a table listing all employees and fields for entering new employee details. Staff can also filter table records by entering relevant keywords in the search bar. Employees added here will automatically gain access to the system.

(7) Customers Page

The Customers page allows staff to view, add, modify, and delete customer records. Staff can also filter table records by entering relevant keywords in the search bar.

(8) Billing Page

The Billing page enables staff to process sales transactions. It includes a billing form where staff can select a customer, pick products by selecting rows from the product table, and add them to the cart. Once the transaction is completed, a receipt is generated, and the product quantity is automatically updated to reflect the sale.

(9) Transaction History Page

The Transaction History page provides a log of all past transactions. This page is read-only, allowing staff to view transaction details without making modifications.

1. Inventory Tracking

The system automatically updates product inventory after each sale, reducing the risk of errors caused by manual inventory management.

2. Sales and Transaction History Tracking

The transaction history feature helps keep track of all sales, ensuring transparency and easy access to past transactions for record-keeping and analysis.

Future Improvements

1. User Role Expansion

Expanding user roles to include customers would enable them to browse products, place orders, and track purchases within the system.

2. Integrated Payment Gateway

Implementing a secure payment gateway would allow customers to make online purchases directly through the system, improving convenience and sales.

3. Stock Management Enhancement

The system could be enhanced to automatically notify once stock levels fall below a certain threshold, ensuring that popular items are always in stock.
